Today it is my turn on the blog tour for this fantastic sunshine filled read from Kate Frost. Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to take part and for my copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description
An ex-husband, two potential lovers, one reckless decision. Will Connie ever be happy in love?

When Connie Stone leaves behind a cheating husband and heartache in the UK for her aunt's beach retreat, the last thing she wants is for her life to once again be complicated by men.
Yet when her past follows her to Tanzania, her time to heal is short-lived and a selfish act shatters her hopes for a fresh start. An unexpected return to the UK reveals a long-hidden family secret that Connie has to deal with before she can decide the direction her life should take.
Getting over a broken heart was never going to be easy. Can Connie put the past to rest and find peace and love in a country far from home?

My Review
This is an absolutely brilliant sunshine filled read that is highly addictive read that I could not put down.
Connie Stone is heading off to Tanzania to try and piece her life back together after a series of heartbreaks that have left her at rock bottom. Her aunt, Bella runs a beach retreat where Connie feels she get over the traumatic events of her past and find peace with herself.
Connie is excited to be returning to the beach retreat after not visiting her aunt for twelve years and it doesn't take Connie long to start to relax and enjoy the beautiful and exotic retreat.
She is soon getting to know all of the staff and build relationships with them all some which are becoming closer than others. Then Connie has the shock of her ex husband, Felix turning up this is not going to plan and how is she supposed to be getting over his deceit and the heartache he caused if he is following her.
Once that issue is resolved Connie believes that she can finally start getting back on track, and things are going fine until a shock phone call from the UK that sees her rushing home. What she doesn't expect is the family secrets that are revealed once she is there, they throw her another dilemma should she stay in the UK or should she start fresh in another country at The Baobab Beach Retreat?
I loved this book from start to finish and it brought some sunshine to a very grey day in the UK. The settings in this book sound amazing and the perfect setting to heal a broken heart.
I enjoyed getting to know the character of Connie, I felt she showed a great deal of bravery by realising she needed a break and the opportunity to heal herself. You do get a good back story of her and what's happened in her life to get to this point. The character of Bella, Connie's Aunt, is a great support to Connie and you realise how much heartache she has had in the past too.
This is a brilliant read and I cannot wait to read more from Kate Frost.
