A Christmas Wedding at the Castle by Eliza J. Scott

Today is my stop on the Blog Tour for this romantic and festive new release from Eliza J. Scott. Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to join the tour, and for my copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description

Do you believe in fate? Livvie Weatherill does…

This time last year, if anyone had told Livvie Weatherill she’d have fallen in love and would be making plans for her Christmas wedding to Zander Gillespie, she would have laughed in their face. If they’d gone on to say they’d be planning to have their wedding at the imposing Danskelfe Castle, she’d have laughed even louder!

But it would seem fate had plans for her…

Since moving to the pretty moorland village of Lytell Stangdale Livvie is happier than she’s ever been. She’s living with Zander and she’s working at her dream job as a wedding dress designer at Romantique with her friends, Kitty and Violet. It’s fair to say, she’s enjoying immersing herself in village life, from romantic walks in the countryside, to meeting friends at the quaint Sunne Inne. And she can’t think of anything better than rounding off the day cosying up with Zander.

Life is sweet.

Her blossoming friendship with Freda Easton, the endearing but reclusive elderly lady who lives down the lane, has taken everyone by surprise. But Freda has a secret and, in a turn of events no one could predict, she finds herself grateful for Livvie’s fierce loyalty, cementing their friendship further.

Just when things seem to be running smoothly, a face from the past arrives on the doorstep casting a shadow over Livvie’s wedding plans. Adding to the drama, an icy blast of Arctic air brings heavy snowfall to the village, covering the moors in a thick blanket of snow.

Is their love strong enough to withstand the challenges thrown at them? Will they get their magical Christmas wedding?

Join Livvie and Zander – and all the usual characters – for a sparkling Christmas full of love and laughter in Lytell Stangdale.

My Review
This is such a heartwarming and romantic read that I simply adored from beginning to end, and did not want to put down.
Livvie Weatherill is loving her life and cannot believe how much has changed for her in the last year.
This time last year she was single and feeling down about her life. Now she is in love with the handsome Zander, who adores her. They have a beautiful cottage together and Livvie has also found the job of her dreams working with her lovely new friends too.
Livvie is enjoying living in Lytell Stangdale and making the most of all of the opportunities village life has to offer her. Livvie is even striking up a friendship with Freda Easton, the village recluse who lives alone within he village.
Life could not be better for Livvie and her beloved Zander, but things begin to come undone when a face  from the past returns and causes drama. Could all of their plans be derailed, and could Livvie lose the man of her dreams?
Life is certainly never dull in Lytell Stangdale and with the snowflakes beginning to fall will the dream winter wedding go ahead?
This is such a wonderful festive read and a great addition to the Life on the Moors series.
It was great to revisit this beautiful village in the moors and see all of the characters we have grown to love with a few new additions too.
It s clear from the first page just how much Livvie and Zander adore each other and why they fit together so well. They both have been hurt in the past and deserve the chance of happiness together.
This story is not just full of romance, there is plenty mystery involved too with secrets being revealed which certainly keep you gripped.
The story is also full of fun, laughter, friendship and festive cheer too making it the perfect book to get cosy and escape with this festive season.
Eliza J. Scott has done it again with this must read Christmas treat.
A five star read.
