Spring on Rendezvous Lane by Angela Britnell

Today I am reviewing this wonderful new spring release from Angela Britnell.
Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to review this book, and for my copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest unbiased review.

Book Description
Can even the most seasoned traveller find a home on Rendezvous Lane?
‘Community spirit’ is not a phrase in travel junkie Taran Rossi’s vocabulary. As a former ‘third culture kid’ and now spicy street food connoisseur and social media influencer, he’s never really stayed in one place long enough to feel part of a community. And that’s just the way he likes it.
But a springtime stint house sitting for his grandmother on Rendezvous Lane in East Nashville could lead to a long overdue wake-up call. With the help of single mum Sandy Warner and her young son Chip, can Taran come to understand that sometimes it’s not about the place – it’s about the people?

My Review
This was a wonderful and heartwarming read that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Taran Rossi finds himself staying on Rendezvous Lane house sitting for is grandmother who has been taken ill. Normally a world traveller, Taran is not the type to stay in one place for too long so is keen to keep himself to himself and not integrate with the community.
Single Mum, Sandy lives on Rendezvous Lane with her son Chip. Sandy does not always have an easy time but they both love living within the community there and are really supported by those around them.
When Sandy finds out that there is someone house sitting next door she is determined that they should get to know, and be involved in the community around them.
Sandy is shocked to find herself attracted to Taran when she first meets him. He can feel the attraction too but Sandy just wants to stay friends as she does not want to rely on anyone and she has to put her son Chip first.
The longer Taran is house sitting for his grandmother the more he begins to get involved within the community and also spend more time with Sandy and Chip. The two of them are getting closer and closer, but knowing how much Taran loves to travel, and how he won't be staying for long Sandy wants to keep him at arms length.
Taran finds himself drawn to Sandy and Chip and really begins to enjoy being on Rendezvous Lane so when disaster strikes and the community of Rendezvous Lane find them under attack from developers Taran and Sandy come up with a plan to keep the community together. Maybe Taran has finally found a place he can call home.
This is such a wonderful and heartwarming read that is simply a delight to  read. I loved getting to know all of the characters and residents of Rendezvous Lane.
Sandy was wonderful to get to know. It is obvious that being a single mum to Chip is challenging at times but she simply wants the best for him. Sandy does have some secrets from the past and these do come out as you read the story.
Taran has always loved travelling and after disaster in his past has found it has kept his mind away from what happened.
I really enjoy the writing style of Angela Britnell. I find the story flows well and is highly addictive leading to you not wanting to put the book down.
This is the perfect spring read.
