Coming Home to Ottercombe Bay publication day!

Welcome to my first ever Publication day blitz! I am so excited to share this fantastic read with you!

Coming Home to Ottercombe Bay by Bella Osborne
Daisy Wickens has returned to Ottercombe Bay, the picturesque Devon town where her mother died when she was a girl. She plans to leave as soon as her great uncle's funeral is over, but Great uncle Reg had other ideas. He's left Daisy a significant inheritance- an old building in a state of disrepair, which could offer exciting possibilities, but to get it she must stay in Ottercombe Bay for 12 whole months.

with the help of a cast of locals, a few gin cocktails and a black Pug with plenty of attitude, Daisy might just turn this into something special. But can she ever hope to be happy among the ghosts of her past?

I absolutely love this book. It is such a great story that will have you hooked after just the first few pages. This book was previously released in four instalments and is now available as one full length novel.
This book gives you such a lovely insight into all of the people living in Ottercombe Bay and not just the main characters, as there are other adventures and secrets happening in Ottercombe Bay too.  The story is very heart warming and will also have you laughing out loud at times. As you read through the book you really start to get to know Daisy, and you are able to see her character develop and grow as the story unfolds.
I really enjoyed getting to know about all of the family and quirky friends who are around to support and help Daisy as she embarks on her latest adventure thanks to her Great Uncle Reg. I think the setting of this book is amazing and it is written so well that you feel like you could be sat there watching the story as it happens.
I would recommend this book to all my friends as I think its a book that people will really fall in love with just like I did.

The Cottage on Sunshine Beach by Holly Martin

The Cottage on Sunshine Beach
by
Holly Martin

This is the latest release from Holly Martin and wow what a fantastic read! such a treat!

Melody Rosewood is loving the new life she has created for herself in the beautiful Sandcastle Bay. She is enjoying the freedom of running her own jewellery making business after leaving London behind a year ago after the death of her twin brother Matthew, and is loving being so close to her family again and her best friend Tori.
The one thing that Melody feels is missing is someone to share her life with. She first met the gorgeous Jamie Jackson at the funeral of her brother and felt an instant attraction to him but the hurt that Melody has had in the past is causing her to hold back, and unsure of how Jamie feels. Jamie having also been hurt in the past means he is not confident about building a relationship. Can they both get past the previous issues or are they forever going to stay just good friends.

Holly Martin has done it again! a book that is perfect escapism. This is fantastic book that I couldn't wait to read and once I started to read I couldn't put it down!
I loved reading about all the mishaps and adventures that Melody and Jamie have along the way trying to have a relationship together. It is also great to read more about the lives of Aiden and Tori who feature in the previous release The Holiday Cottage by the Sea and see how their relationship is progressing.  I love reading how descriptive this book is and you could also fell like you were there in Sunshine Bay with all of the characters. I enjoy how quirky and nosy some of the residents are especially Jamie's Aunt Agatha, who is trying her best to push their relationship on which leads to some hilarious events!
I enjoyed every minute of this book and its a perfect summer read. one to tell all of your friends about.

This book is published by Bookouture and was released 22nd June 2018

Mum In the Middle

Mum in The Middle
By Jane Wenham-Jones

After the break up of her marriage and her three children flying the nest Tess decides to relocate to the lively town of Northstone for a fresh start. Tess is keen to start enjoying living alone again after always having to put others first and is looking forward to some much earned me time. Little does she know that her family and new found friends have other ideas.
Tess is feeling very apprehensive at first about being alone, but it isn't long before she meets her new neighbour Jinni, who is refurbishing the house next door and aiming to turn it into a boutique B & B. This is much to the annoyance of Ingrid who isn't happy about the proposed new business, especially when it concerns DFLs (Down from Londoners) who she believes are taking over the town.
It isn't long after Tess has moved into her new home that her family start dropping by and they all seem very keen to stay and bring all their dramas along with them. They become even more keen to hang around once they hear about all the suspicious activities that have been happening to Jinni and her home as somebody is very keen to try and put Jinni off from staying there.
with the help of her new friend Malcom, a local journalist Tess is keen to try and get to the bottom of the mysterious goings on and is soon surrounded by drama including her mothers illness. Will they ever get to the bottom of whats going on?

This is the first book I have read by this author.  I was really drawn into it by the blurb and I wasn't disappointed! I really enjoyed reading this book. It is written in a very realistic way and you can really feel yourself being drawn into each of the family members dramas and believe me there are plenty of those and some of them will have you laughing out loud! this is a great summer read to be accompanied by a glass two of wine in the sunshine and a great read to recommend to your friends.

This book is published by HarperImpulse.

The Little Brooklyn Bakery by Julie Caplin

The Little Brooklyn Bakery
by Julie Caplin
(warning this book will want to make you eat cupcakes! 😋)

Sophie is working as a food editor for a magazine based in London and is offered the chance of a lifetime to do a job swap with their sister magazine in New York. Sophie is reluctant to accept the offer, but once she's found out that her beloved boyfriend James is not everything he seems to be she has a change of heart and accepts the role, and is soon jetting off to New York to try and mend her broken heart.
Once in New York Sophie soon finds out that her new apartment is situated above The Little Brooklyn Bakery. Sophie is soon drawn in by the lovely sugary treats and the smell of coffee and there she meets the lovely Bella, Her landlady and owner of the bakery.
on her first day at her new job Sophie finds out that she will be sharing an office with the very handsome Todd. After being hurt Sophie has decided to stay single, and even though she finds Todd very attractive she is keen to keep her distance this proves to be very difficult as they both share a love of food and as well as the office and soon sparks are starting to fly. Maybe Todd will be the man to mend her broken heart?

This book is the second in the trilogy following on from The Little Cafe in Copenhagen

This was the first book I have read by Julie Caplin but I was hooked from the first few pages!
this is a great read with the setting in New York and cake involved what could go wrong? really enjoyed reading this book and I found it perfect reading for a beautiful day out in the sunshine.
the characters are very well written and you feel like you really get to know them as you read through the book. You also get a good insight into all of the characters backgrounds and watch as their different relationships grow and develop into maybe something more.
At the end of the book you get a sneak peak at the next book in the trilogy The Little Paris Patisserie and this looks just as exciting and I can't wait to read it when it is released in September.

Hi guys sorry there has been nothing updated on here as I said I'm a busy mum! I have also been doing some very exciting reading and I will be sharing with you what I have been reading later on today so watch this space!............
