Christmas at Frozen falls by Kiley Dunbar

Today I am on the blog tour for this fantastic new release from Kiley Dunbar. Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to join the tour and for my copy of the book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description
Christmas magic can thaw the coldest of hearts…
Sylvie Magnusson is going to be lonely this Christmas. Instead of jetting off for her

sunshine honeymoon, she’s freezing at home in Cheshire. Guess that’s what happens when your fiancĂ© dumps you a week before your wedding…

Sylvie’s best friend, Nari, plans a trip to see the Northern Lights and get Sylvie’s mojo back. But as their Lapland getaway approaches, Sylvie realises that Frozen Falls is the hometown of Stellan Virtanen, her dreamy Finnish ex-boyfriend, the one that got away. Even though he actually ran away, and Sylvie never understood why…
Luckily, when they meet, Stellan’s still gorgeous – and her heart is warmed when he shows her the romantic delights of Lapland (as well as some seriously adorable Husky puppies). But when she returns to England can she really leave Stellan behind? Or will she find that her heart belongs in the frozen North?

Curl up with the perfect cosy Christmas read this winter. Fans of Sarah Morgan and

Carole Matthews will adore this feel good, heart-warming romcom.

Book Review
I found myself all snuggled up with a blanket on a dreary afternoon and read this book from start to finish without leaving my seat.
This is a brilliant, feel good winter read that will really start to get you into the festive mood.
Sylvie is still in shock about the fact that she will spending this Christmas alone after being dumped by her fiancĂ© the week before their wedding. Christmas was when the pair of them were supposed to be jetting off to the sunshine for their Honeymoon. Instead Sylvie finds herself sat in the travel agents about to cancel their dream getaway as she doesn't want to go alone. This is where her best friend Nari steps in and persuades Sylvie not to cancel the holiday but just change it to a different destination. The pair decide to head to Lapland  and experience a different type of Christmas.
Sylvie realises before they head away that the the town of Frozen Falls that they will be staying in used to be the home of Stellan, her boyfriend from university, her first true love and the one who left her broken hearted when he left.
Sylvie and Nari are soon experiencing all that Lapland has to offer especially when they do meet up with Steffan. The is still an attraction between the pair and sparks do begin to fly between them both as Steffan shows Sylvie all of the sights that Frozen Falls had to offer including Huskie Puppies.
Sylvie is soon reliving the feelings she had for Steffan all those years ago and when the time comes she is very reluctant to go back home. Will she decide to stay and be with Steffan or does she go back home and get on with her life without him again?
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. Kiley has a fantastic way of describing the setting within the book which makes you feel as though you are there too. The setting sounds idyllic and the perfect spot for romance. I loved getting to know some of the customs they talk about and how they are all incorporated into the book.
The characters are very relatable and I found the relationship between Sylvie and Nari a great one to read. They both seem to be very different and have different lives but the bond between them both is very strong.
This is the second book I have read from Kiley Dunbar and I am already looking forward to the next adventure she will take us on.
