My Review
This is a highly addictive read and I couldn't put it down.
This book is set over just one day in December.
It shows the lives of four individuals who are all in someways interlinked together. This book tells of all the happiness, heartache and sadness that can all happen within 24 hours.
You meet Caro, Caro is travelling across Scotland. She has found out about a big family secret and is determined to get tho the bottom of what's happen and find out the truth.
Cammy is in love and is determined to marry his true love. If only he could find the perfect ring then maybe he could have his happy every after.
Bernadette is a very downtrodden wife who has put up with her husbands controlling ways for too long. She has decided that enough is enough and that she is going to leave him.
Lila is so used to getting her own way and seems to just want more and more. She also can't keep her secret in anymore and is desperate for the truth to come out and for all of her dreams to come true.
This book follows the four of them on one day in December. They are all interlinked to each other although they don't all know it just yet. The setting for this book is Glasgow and it seems to be the perfect setting for this story. The story flows very well and each chapter is based on one person that day. There are some good supporting characters within the book that really help strengthen the story and help you understand the past of some of the main characters too.
This book will have you feeling a range of emotions as the stories they each have to tell unravel which will keep you absorbed right up until the very end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Once upon a time she met a guy, got engaged after a week, and twenty-something years later she lives near Glasgow with her husband, a labradoodle, and two teenagers who think she's fairly embarrassing except when they need a lift.
