The Love Island Bookshop by Kate Frost

Today is my stop on the Blog Tour for this sunshine filled, exotic summer release from Kate Frost.
Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to join the tour, and for my copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description
A dream job, two handsome men, one destructive act. Will Freya’s opportunity of a lifetime end in tears?
When Freya leaves her publishing job in London to be a barefoot bookseller in the Maldives, it’s the push she needs to move on from her sadness and reignite her passion for life.
While resort owner Zander is charming, it’s handsome dive instructor Aaron who befriends her when she needs it most. But all is not what it seems and there’s trouble brewing in paradise.
Taking a chance on happiness is harder than she imagined. Can Freya let go of her heartache and allow herself to fall in love again?

My Review
This book is such a wonderful and highly addictive read that I could not put down.
Freya loves her job working for a publishing company in London. It is the career she has always wanted but after some heartbreaking events in her life she is feeling lonely and sad.
She spots a job advert working and running a bookshop on an island in the Maldives. With encouragement from her friends she applies for the job and is shocked when after many stages of interview she is offered the job.
Soon Freya is packing her bags and heading to the exotic islands. Could this be the break she needs to bring some enjoyment back to her life.
Freya falls in love with the Island the minute her feet hit the warm white sand, with its shimmering blue seas and the glorious sunshine what more could she want. The people all seem so friendly including her new boss, and Resort owner Zander.  Freya is soon getting to know people and finds herself easily fitting in with her new surrounds and routines.
Like is just iddilic for Freya, that is until disaster strikes at the bookshop and people begin to show their true colours. Was coming to the island a big mistake. Will Freya end up getting hurt again or will love find a way.
I adored reading this book. I found the story to be very engaging and the characters were all great to get to know. With them all adding to the story.
The setting seems like paradise and provided some much needed sunshine on a rather grey day.
I enjoyed getting to know Freya. As you read the book you do find out more about her past and why she finds it hard to trust people and let them into her life. It is wonderful to red as she embraces the island life and begins to relax. There are two men her life and they are both very different.
Reading this book will sweep you off to an Island of paradise, with its sunshine, warm sparkling seas, beautiful white sandy beaches and stunning sunsets and you will not want to leave.
Another brilliant five star read from Kate Frost.
