Perfect Match

Zoe May

Today I am on the blog tour for this brilliant romcom from Zoe May. I want to say thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to take part and I hope you enjoy my review.

Book Description
Can you ever find true love online?
Sophia Jones is an expert in all things online dating: the best sites, how to write a decent bio, which questions to ask and the right type of photos to use. The only thing she’s not so great at? Picking the guys...
After sitting through yet another dreadful date with a man who isn’t quite what she expected, Sophia is just about ready to give up on the whole dating scene. But her flatmate, Kate, persuades her to give it one more chance, only this time she must create a profile describing her ‘perfect’ man.
Yes, he must look like Robert Pattinson and needs to own a multi-million pound business, but there are a couple of other deal breakers, too! So, when a guy comes along who ticks every box, surely there’s got to be a catch?
A laugh-out-loud romantic comedy, perfect for fans of Catherine Bennetto and Rosie Blake!

My Review
This is a fantastic Romcom that really did have me laughing out loud. Sophia is on her latest disastrous date she has found on a dating website and has decided that this will be the last one. She goes home and tells her friend and flatmate, Kate, of the latest bad date and declares to never ever pick a date from an online site. Kate then persuades Sophia to have one last try and post about her perfect man and see if he really does exist. With her perfect man described they post it online and wait to see what happens. It isn't long before replies to Sophia's profile start flooding in and most of them are people just looking for some fun and none of them are who suitable. That is until a Robert Pattison lookalike pops up and sends her a message. Once they begin to chat Sophia finds out so much more about Daniel and the lifestyle he has not to mention that he is a multi millionaire business man! Sophia is really into Daniel and he seems to be into her but is it all just too good to be true?
This is a well written book that has a very natural flow that will really draw you in and keep you hooked until the last page. There is a varied cast of characters within the story who all have their part in Sophia's live and who all have their own stories too which helps build the story. I think the character of Sophia is a very strong one. She knows what she wants in a man and isn't happy to settle for anything less, if he isn't perfect then she doesn't want to know. As the book progresses Sophia starts to realise that maybe love has a way of creeping up on you when you least expect it.
I loved the book from start to finish and it really did make me giggle. This is the first book have read from Zoe May but it certainly will not be the last.
