Amazing Grace by Kim Nash

Today I am very excited to bring you my review of this brilliant, fun and feel good read from Kim Nash. Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to take part and for my copy of the book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description
She’s taking her life back, one step at a time...

Grace thought she had it all. Living in the beautiful village of Little Ollington, along with head teacher husband Mark and gorgeous son, Archie, she devoted herself to being the perfect mum and the perfect wife, her little family giving her everything she ever wanted.
Until that fateful day when she walked in on Mark kissing his secretary - and her perfect life fell apart.
Now she's a single mum to Archie, trying to find her way in life and keep things together for his sake. Saturday nights consist of a Chinese takeaway eaten in front of the TV clad in greying pyjamas, and she can’t remember the last time she had a kiss from anyone aside from her dog, Becks...
Grace’s life needs a shake up – fast. So when gorgeous gardener Vinnie turns up on her doorstep, his twinkling eyes suggesting that he might be interested in more than just her conifers, she might just have found the answer to her prayers. But as Grace falls deeper for Vinnie, ten-year-old Archie fears that his mum finding love means she’ll never reconcile with the dad he loves.
So when ex-husband Mark begs her for another chance, telling her he’s changed from the man that broke her heart, Grace finds herself with an impossible dilemma. Should she take back Mark and reunite the family that Archie loves? Or risk it all for a new chance of happiness?

A funny, feel good romance about finding your own path and changing your life for the better – readers of Cathy Bramley, Jill Mansell and Josie Silver will love this uplifting read.

My Review
This such a brilliant fun and heartwarming read that I got so absorbed in and I read it in one sitting.
Grace believed her life was going well and that she really did have it all. She had a loving husband, Mark and her beloved Son Archie and Grace was loving life being a mum. Things soon come crashing down around her when she finds her husband has been cheating on her and she is left to bring up Archie as a single parent and devoting all of her life to keeping her life work balance correct and being the best mum she can be still to Archie, even if that means remaining single and staying in every weekend.
Grace is very apprehensive when her friend Monica steps in and decides to give her some help, She gets a full makeover and is pleasantly surprised by how much better she looks, but further surprise lies ahead for Grace as Monica has signed her up to a dating website! What follows is Three rather hilarious dates that have Grace feeling like the single life is the way to be, That is until she meets gardener, Vinnie and sparks begin to fly.
Will Grace feel like Vinnie is worth the risk of falling in love with, or will the life she had with her ex husband Mark be better for her and Archie?
I loved this book from start to finish. The characters within the book are all very relatable and you really do get to know them all really well. They all have a strong back story and they all fit so well into the lives of Grace and Archie. I thing Grace is a brilliant character, she starts with very little self confidence and self worth, most of this is caused by her ex husband, however as the story develops you see a stronger and more sure of herself Grace appear. This is due to the support of those around her and the love she has for her son Archie. I enjoyed watching Grace bloom with all of her new business ideas and its great to see her grow.
This is the debut novel from Kim Nash and I am already really excited to find out where her next read will take us.
