My Review
This book is such a treat and one I devoured in one sitting.
Lisa is feeling like she has finally got her life in order she has a very loving boyfriend, her best friend Felicity and a successful pet sitting business. Things start to go off plan however with the arrival of a female that seems to be keen to rock the boat between Lisa and Nathan.
Felicity is happy with her life with her husband Pete and their four children. Life for them is often very busy and hectic for them both. However Felicity has a worry that could really shake up her family and change the dynamics forever.
This is the second book in the series and follows on from 'The Purrfect Pet Sitter' where you first meet Lisa and Felicity. this book however can be read as a standalone read. This was the first book in the series that I have read and I loved meeting Lisa and Felicity and getting to know them.
Lisa is a woman that is starting to grow in confidence especially as her relationship with Nathan is growing from strength to strength. You do get an insight into her previous relationship with her ex boyfriend Ben which gives you a good understanding of her past and why she is feeling less confident and unsure of herself. it is great to see as you read on that her confidence grows and she become more sure of herself.
Felicity is a brilliant mum to her four children and they keep her pretty busy. She enjoys being a mum but does feel the need to get some time for herself at times too.
The writing style of this book is brilliant it is well written and keeps you hooked in from the first page to the last. There are some very funny moments in the book that will have you laughing out loud and some times that reveal some sadness, however the two are balanced really well and make for a fantastic read that you will really enjoy.
This was the first book I have read in the series and I'm now off to add the first book to my kindle library.
