Spring Skies over Bluebell Castle by Sarah Bennett

Today I am really excited to share with you my review of this fantastic and heart warming read from the amazing Sarah Bennett. Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to take part and for my copy of the book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description

She wasn’t looking for love...

When Lucie Kennington flees the bright lights of London for the quiet Derbyshire countryside, she’s shocked to discover that the heir to the Bluebell Castle estate is far from the wizened employer she expected.

In fact, Arthur Ludworth might just be the most handsome man Lucie’s ever laid eyes on – and a terrible distraction! So when she stumbles across a legendary painting feared lost for centuries, she can’t believe her luck – perhaps this is the hidden treasure to save Arthur and his family from ruin?
But it’s only a matter of time before Lucie’s past catches up with her and by then it’s too late, she’s falling for him...
Perfect for fans of Trisha Ashley, Rachael Lucas and Hilary Boyd.

My Review
This is the latest release from Sarah Bennett and wow what a treat. This book is highly addictive and I was absorbed from the first page to the last.
Lucie is working for Witherbys Fine Arts. Lucie has worked hard with the company  and is excited to be given the chance for promotion after finding a very rare painting, however things don't go according to plan and Lucie finds herself back at home with her mum and at a loss for what to do.
Lucie decides to try and hide from the world but her mum, Constance, will not let that happen and shows Lucie an advert for a Job at a Castle in rural Derbyshire. Lucie applies and it isn't long before Lucie finds herself I the beautiful surroundings of Bluebell Castle.
BlueBell castle is the home of the Ludworth family, Triplets, Arthur, Tristan and Iggy.
Arthur has just become the latest heir to the castle after the death of their father. Since the death of their father the triplets have realised that there is no family money and they are at risk of losing their home. This is why they have advertised for help in identifying any objects of value that could help them raise money and help them to unravel the mystery of the missing painting.
Lucie is struck by how handsome Arthur is from the first the first time she sees him and is adamant that she will not get distracted but will she stick to her plan but will she fall in love and if she does will he be able to accept her past or will it come back to haunt her.
Sarah Bennett does a fantastic job of describing the settings within the castle and you feel you almost be there with them while they all explore all the nooks and surprises that the castle has to offer.
I really liked the character of Lucie. You can see how insecure she is after what has happened in her past, and it's great to see that confidence start to improve and see Lucie feel like she can be more herself and not put on a front for anyone.
I liked getting to know all of the inhabitants of Bluebell castle and and you Get a clear understanding of how much the castle means to them all and why they will all try their best to keep it in the family. This is something that weighs heavily on the mind of the new heir Arthur.
I loved this book from start to finish and I am looking forward to the next instalment of Bluebell Castle.
