Book Description
If you love all the colours of autumn, you're sure to warm to this uplifting story of love, loss and starting over.
Primrose Wilkins arrived in Sunnybrook with a burning desire to find the family she's never known. But after a heart-breaking false start, she's beginning to have second thoughts. Can she find the courage to battle on in her quest? And with her romantic life at an all-time low, will meeting the intriguing and attractive Callum Davy be just what she needs to renew her faith in love?
Meanwhile, Fen is also finding it hard to be brave. She's made it through to the final of TV show 'Battle of the Bakes' (thanks to Ellie entering on her behalf), but she's always shied away from being in the spotlight. How will Fen cope now that she's a famous 'celebrity', recognised in the street everywhere she goes?
My Review
This is the latest instalment from the Little Duck Pond Cafe series. I was so excited to re visit all of the characters from Sunnybrook we have met before and I was not disappointed, I loved it from start to finish.
It is heading into Autumn and Primrose Wilkins, the latest new resident of Sunnybrook is still getting to know everyone and make friends. Primrose is desperate to find her family, the family that she has never known, and after a setback with her plan Primrose is finding it hard to try again.
Luckily for Primrose she has her friends around her for support and when she meets Callum, another new resident to Sunnybrook romance could be on the cards too. Will she find love in Callum or is there someone else closer to home that holds the key to her finding love?
Fen is finding life in the spotlight increasingly difficult after gaining a place in the final in Battle of the Bakes, Which Ellie entered for her on her behalf. Fen is not happy being so well known as she is keen to just hide away from everything as she is such a private person. This becomes even more of a problem after the final and Fen doesn't know how to deal with the fame. However can she find a way to turn this around and find a positive way to use her new found fame?
This is the perfect read for this time of year with the seasons changing and it beginning to get cold. I loved heading back to Sunnybrook and seeing all of the characters I feel I have got to know throughout the series. This book focuses on Primrose and her attempts at finding her family. You also get to know more about her past and realise why she has decided on a new start at Sunnybrook. It was also good to see her start to get some romance in her life too.
I really love the setting of Sunnybrook. The residents of the village are again great to read about and I love just how much they all help and support each other.
This has been such a brilliant series, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

About the Author
Rosie has been scribbling stories ever since she was little.
Back then, they were rip-roaring adventure tales with a young heroine in perilous danger of falling off a cliff or being tied up by 'the baddies'.
Thankfully, Rosie has moved on somewhat, and now much prefers to write romantic comedies that melt your heart and make you smile, with really not much perilous danger involved at all - unless you count the heroine losing her heart in love.
Rosie's brand new series of novellas is centred around life in a village cafe. The latest, 'Bonfires & Hot Chocolate at the Little Duck Pond Cafe', is out now.
Watch out for 'A Winter Wedding at the Little Duck Pond Cafe', which will be published Christmas 2019.
Rosie is also writing a full-length, standalone book for Christmas 2019, entitled 'Snowflakes over Moondance Cottage'.
