But Rafe’s grandmother, Olivia still hopes that something will tear Rafe and Neva apart. Hazel’s new assignment means nursing someone back to health … and there’s history between them. And Jo’s receiving texts from her ex-fiancĂ©.

Then Rafe’s first wife, Pippa – the woman who broke his heart, unexpectedly arrives. And she’s even more beautiful and irresistible than Rafe remembers.

When everyone is looking to the future, will the past prove to be too strong?

There will be a wedding at Wynter House … but who will be the bride and groom?

My Review

We return to Wynter House for this third and final instalment of this wonderful and uplifting series from Emily Harvale.

Olivia, Grandmother to both Rafe and and Adam is shocked and stunned when family secrets are revealed. She is determined to keep up the family name and traditions and wants nobody to spoil them.

Olivia is also still not happy with the relationship between Rafe and Neva. She is convinced that Rafe could do better for himself and the family and is trying her best to break the two of them up.

Rafe and Neva are both so in love that any pressure they are getting from Olivia is simply being ignored. Rafe is working hard to promote his new Gin business and Neva is working towards open day of her new hair salon, but they are both still making time for each other and their  relationship is going from strength to strength.

That is until a face from the past returns to Wynter house, sending them both into turmoil.

Pippa is the first wife of Rafe, she is stunning and beautiful and is keen to get what she wants, and what she wants is Rafe.

Rafe is shocked to see her and she is just like he remembered.

This throws Neva into shock and she begins to fear that she could be losing Rafe.

The relationship between Adam and Hazel is becoming rocky too after Hazel is asked to go and care for a face from her past. Will the two of them be able to get over this hurdle in their relationship.

Jo is stunned to receive a text message from her ex. Maybe he wants her back, there's only one way to find out.

There is a wedding to plan at Wynter House but which couple will be saying "I do".

One thing is for certain that life at Wynter House is never dull.

I absolutely love this series from Emily Harvale. I find it totally absorbing and engaging and this third part to the story was no exception.

This instalment is full of the drama we have seen in the previous books and it really draws you in, not giving you any clue what will happen until the very end of the book.

In this book you get to learn more about the relationship that Rafe had with Pippa. You also gain an understanding of why Rafe was so heartbroken when their relationship ended.

You also get an insight into the relationship that that Neva and Jo share. This explains why they are so close. You also find out more about Jo in this book and it is great to see her moving forward with her life too.

This part of the series is full of all the characters we have grown to love throughout the series. I really enjoy the way the author has woven the Merriment Bay series into this book too.

The writing style of the book flows well and is really engaging from beginning to end.

I have adored reading this series it has been brilliant giving you the perfect chance of escapism, lifting your heart and leaving you with a warm feeling inside.

I am already looking forward to the next adventure that Emily Harvale will take us on.
