Book Description
It’s the most magical time of the year, and for travel agent Sarah it’s also the busiest! But this year one man threatens to ruin Christmas for Sarah’s customers – Mr Grinch, Will Armstrong.
The Shooting Star Mountain resort is a magical place, and Sarah has fond memories of Christmas here as a little girl – visits to Father Christmas, husky rides in the snow and hot chocolate by a roaring fire. But as the resorts new owner, Will refuses to play snowball or to deck the halls with anything remotely resembling tinsel!
With customers complaining their Christmas is ruined, Sarah decides it’s up to her to convince Scroogey Will just how magical Christmas can be....
But getting Will into the Christmas spirit is hopeless – he is Bah Humbug personified! But as Sarah gets to know him better, she realises that underneath all the gloom is a man struggling with a pain of his own.
With the big day approaching, Sarah realises that the magic and sparkle can wait. This year, she’s going to spend Christmas day with someone special her very own Mr Scrooge...

My Review
This is such a wonderful festive read that will really get you in the mood for Christmas and make you get all snuggled up ready for winter.
Sarah works as a Travel agent for here Auntie Lynn, she is getting increasingly frustrated with the  bad feedback she is getting from guests that have stayed at her favourite christmas resort, The Shooting Star Mountain Resort and decides to take matters into her own hands. Sarah decides to spend christmas there and turn it back into the resort she remembers from her childhood, even if the very incredibly grumpy Will Armstrong isn't happy about it.
Sarah is on a mission and with the help of some of the other guests staying in the resort and Will's brother Ed is soon starting to get the resort back on its feet and feeling more festive, and more like the resort Sarah remembers.
This book is written in such a way that you are so absorbed in the story that you can't put it down. Three is a great mix of lots of different characters that all bring something unique to the story and all have a part to play in Sarah's mission to get the resort at its best again. I loved the relationship between Sarah and Will. I thought it grew very well throughout the story (even if at first I was not keen on the grumpy and moody Will and very much preferred his Brother Ed!)  and it was nice to watch their relationship develop and you soon realise the reason for Will's attitude towards his brother and the resort. I think it was great to read about the pasts of both Sarah and Will and I think its wonderful how they were able to gain each others trust and share their secrets from the past with each other.
The setting of this book is amazing and made me want to jump on a plane to Canada and I feel it was perfect for this book. The log cabins, snow, stars and the festive spirit all make this the perfect festive read and one to be enjoyed with a hot chocolate and a warm blanket.

Author Bio

Born in a small village in Staffordshire, I wanted to be a female James Herriot, a spy, or an author when I grew up. After many years, and many different jobs, my dream of writing a bestseller came true.
I write about friendship, dreams, love, and happy ever afters, and hope that my tales make you cry a little, laugh a lot, and occasionally say 'ahhh'.
I now live in a Cheshire village with my family, a lively cockapoo called Harry, and a very bossy (and slightly evil) cat called Saffron.
