Will Cheney House survive - and will Janey ever get her When Harry Met Sally happy ending?

My Review
This is such a wonderful read that I enjoyed from beginning to end.
Janey loves her job as Head Gardener at Cheney House. She enjoys working for Clare, the owner of Cheney House and always feels at home there.
Things begin to change for Janey when Clare employs a new manager at the house. Becca is out to prove she is capable of doing the job, and is starting to make big changes and with Clare away she is pushing the changes through with speed. This is something that really worries Janey causing tension between the pair of them. Luckily she has Will on her side. He is the grandson of Clare and in charge of her accounts.
Between the two of them they become very suspicious of Becca and are doing their best to get to the bottom of what Becca is up to.
Janey and Will begin to spend a lot of time together and there does seem to be chemistry between them but Janey is head over heels in love with Graham, which Graham knows nothing about.
Janey and Will are convinced that something is going on at Cheney House with Becca and they are determined to find out what but with Clare away on her romantic Italian break, and unreachable is there enough time to save Cheney House, and will Janey get her happy ever after?
This is such a fun and uplifting read full of intrigue, and romance.
I really liked the writing style of the book. It has plenty of twist and turns and will really keep you guessing right up until the end.
The setting of Cheney House sounds lovely. Full of history and a wonderful place to explore.
I enjoyed getting to know Janey. She was fun to get to know and I really liked her determination to save Cheney House. You really get to see her grow and develop as the book progresses.
Will is a great support to Janey and although they could not be more different there is a spark of attraction between the pair of therefrom the moment they meet.
There is a wonderful cast of supporting characters within the book who all add to the story and the lives of those at Cheney House.
This is a great read and the perfect addition to your summer reading.

Georgia Hill writes warm-hearted and up-lifting contemporary and timeslip romances about love, the power and joy in being an eccentric oldie and finding yourself and your community. There's always a dog. It's usually a naughty spaniel of which, unfortunately, she has had much experience. Her books are firmly rooted in small seaside towns similar to the one she lives in and she loves history especially when it insists on rearing up and battering at the present.

As a child she had an invisible friend called Gonky who lived on the third stair from the bottom. As an adult her invisible friends inhabit her head and refuse to leave until she commits them to paper. Readers of her books can escape into a warm bath of words and, no matter what challenges her characters face they will, ultimately, have a happy ending.
