The Dinner in the Sky by Anne John-Ligali

Today it is my stop o the blog tour for this brilliant read from Anne John-Ligali. Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to take part and for my copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description
After a shocking confrontation with an unexpected encounter, Constance tries to piece her life back together and is on a mission to finally move on.

The thought of having her friends near is comforting as they take time out of their busy online lives and meet up at their favourite place, A Cupful of Dreams CafĂ©. Everyone seems happy enough until cracks begin to show and all is not as good as it seems. Constance tries desperately to keep positive as there’s so much to look forward to: shopping for posh frocks, dinner at The Shard and a movie premiere.

As things start to look rosy, a few odd tweets begin to pop up from nowhere. At first, they seem innocent, but as the weeks go by and premier night draws near, not only do the tweets increase but they become more obnoxious.

By the time Constance and her chums arrive on the red carpet, she’s determined to work out who the troll could be and to keep them from spoiling her evening. However as Constance soon learns, the troll wants to destroy far more than that!

Breathtaking views of London.

Posh frocks and Paparazzi

But there’s definitely trouble in the air …

My Review
This is a funny and romantic read that I enjoyed from the first page to the last. This is book three in the series and I was worried I wouldn't be able to follow the plot line well but Anne John-Ligali gives you a quick catch up on both of the previous book before part three begins. Which I found really helpful.
Constance is still in shock after the confrontation with the unknown stranger at the spa after a treat with her group of friends. This is on top of trying to deal with her broken heart.
Constance is determined to make her life better by spending more time with her friends and family. That is until somebody starts to troll her on line and try and demolish her career. when will she get a break. Constance has her suspicions over who be trying to ruin her but will she be able to prove it. Everyone around he seems to be keeping secrets and what sort of impact will they have on her and will she ever get her happily ever after.
Like I said this is the first book in the series that I have read but I really enjoy getting to know all of the characters with the story and getting to know each of their quirky ways. You also realise that they are all fighting their own demons too. I love how they all support each other and make time for each other and it is fun to read how excited they all are about the red carpet event.
I am now off to add the previous two books to my kindle so I can read the series.
