The Secret - Violet's Story by Eliza J.Scott

Its publication day for this latest release from Eliza J.Scott and I am really excited to share with you my review. Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to join the tour and for my copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description
It’s been two years since glamorous and ambitious Violet Smith fell head-over-heels in love with blacksmith Jimby Fairfax, and moved back home to the North Yorkshire village of Lytell Stangdale to be with him.
Life couldn’t get much sweeter. Their romance is blooming and Romantique - the business she set up with Jimby’s sister Kitty, designing luxurious underwear and burlesque costumes with the odd wedding dress throw in - is thriving.
But on a romantic weekend break, a face from her past triggers a series of events which send Violet into turmoil. She finds herself with no alternative but to reveal a secret she’s buried deep for the past sixteen years. A secret she hasn’t shared with anyone, not even her best friends, Kitty and Molly, and they share everything.
With the revelation forcing a wedge between herself and Jimby, heartbroken Violet fears that he won’t ever be able to think of her in the same way again and won’t want anything more to do with her.
As ever, Kitty and Molly rally round, offering their advice and support but Vi is worried that keeping her secret was just a step too far for Jimby.
Will she succeed in showing him their love is strong enough to overcome it?
The Secret – Violet’s Story is book 3 in the Life on the Moors Series.

My Review

This is the Third instalment in the Life On the Moors series from Eliza J.Scott and I couldn't wait to dive in an and see what the characters from the previous two books have been up to.
This book focuses on Violet, her past and her relationship with Jimby Fairfax.
Jimby is throwing a surprise trip for Violet. He has booked a stay in a luxurious hotel and trips to some of Violets favourite places and he has also planned plenty of surprises along the way too.
It is while they are staying at the hotel that a voice from the past sends shivers down Violet's spine. He's a face from her past that Violet never wanted to see again and one that holds too many secrets that Violet has tried to keep buried for so long.
However things are soon coming to the surface for Violet and she has to reveal the secret to those around her. She's frightened of the outcome and is hoping that her relationship with Jimby can survive the shock.
However things don't go how Violet hope and her relationship does take the strain. thankfully she has support from her best friends Molly and Kitty and they help try and give Violet advice on how to stay strong and fight to keep Jimby. However she is worried that this will be the end for her and Jimby and that they will never get their happy ending.
I loved this latest instalment from Eliza J.Scott. I really enjoyed the other two books in the series and I loved that we got to see the trio of Molly, Kitty and Violet again and read how the three stick together and support each other. I really did feel sorry for Violet as she had a good reason to keep the secret. It is great to see her finding her feet and determine to keep her man though.
I adored this book from the first page to the last and I'm looking forward to reading more in the series.
