TheSingle Mums Move On by Janet Hoggarth

Today I am excited to share with you my review of this brilliant new release from Janet Hoggart. Thank you to Aria Fiction for inviting me to join the tour and for my copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Book Description
Can neighbours become more than good friends...
After her husband left her, Ali and her daughter Grace enjoyed living in what became known as 'the Single Mums' Mansion'. However, with her best friends Amanda and Jacqui moving on, it's time for Ali and Grace to make their own way. Thankfully, a chance conversation leads to them moving into the infamous South London gated community known only as 'The Mews'.
In 'The Mews' everyone lives in each other's pockets and curtain twitching is an Olympic sport. The neighbours are an eclectic bunch – from Nick the alleged spy, Carl the gorgeous but clearly troubled Idris Elba lookalike, to Debbie who is about to face the hardest fight of her life, and TV agent Samantha who is not as in control as she likes to pretend.
Each day brings another drama, but along with the tears, real friendships grow. And her neighbours' problems might unlock the key to something Ali has yearned for all along...
Based on a true story – you'll never be able to look at your neighbours quite the same way again...
Perfect for fans of Marian Keyes, Mhairi McFarlane and Helen Fielding.

My Review
I was really looking forward to reading this book and I was not disappointed. This book had me engrossed from start to finish.
Ali enjoyed the time she had spent living in the 'Single mums Mansion' with her daughter Grace after being left by her husband. They have had some good times there and made some fantastic friends, but with two of her friends now moving on Grace feels that her and Grace should do the same too.
Ali and Grace find themselves living in the close knit and very nosy gated community known as 'The Mews'. It soon becomes apparent just how nosy all of the residents are and just how much they all live in each others pockets.
all of the residents have their own quirks and some are easier to get on with than others but Ali and Grace are soon making friends. Life within the Mews is full of drama but amongst that there does lay some good friendships that blossom as the story goes on.
Will Ali find everything she is looking for at 'The Mews'?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It is the second in the series but can easily be read as a standalone read.
There are some brilliant characters within the book and they all ad something different to the story. I loved the character of Ali she was so down to earth and very relatable. The way she cares for her daughter is fantastic too.
This is the first book I have read from Janet Hoggarth and I am already looking forward to reading what comes next.
